Decrease in clonogenic potential in bone marrow and lung of both KO mice post-OVA. CFU (Colony Forming Units) as assay was done as described in Materials and Methods and assayed in duplicate petridishes per sample. The results shown are pooled from three independent experiments (n = 5/group) ± SEM. Abbreviations used are: BM, bone marrow; PB, peripheral blood, LP, lung parenchyma, BALf, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. The total number of progenitors was extrapolated to the total number cells obtained from each tissue. Underlined numbers denote p value < 0.01 compared to post-OVA WT.
